Please keep it open, I do not despair of finding a way to conditionalise Droid
Sans CJK someday (I try it every other month, so far no luck)

I hope that now Behdad's working for Google it will be easier to coax him in
making Droid work perfectly :)

As you noted, the worst side-effect has been hidden by the fontconfig cleanups
in other packages
