+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #682716 +++
fontconfig-2.8.0-3
fc-match on "pa" gives different results than "pa-in".
$ fc-match :lang=pa
Lohit-Punjabi.ttf: "Lohit Punjabi" "Regular"
$ fc-match :lang=pa-in
DroidSansArabic.ttf: "Droid Sans" "Regular"
fontconfig knows about "pa" and "pa-pk", because "pa-in" isn't an exact match
it considers the full list of pa + pa-pk fonts and returns one of that set
fairly arbitrarily, better would be to return a "pa" more generic version when
there's no exact territory match.
