I'm a font developer, and I cannot state strongly enough how useful this
feature would be. Simply adding an option to disable fallback display would be
a decent start. One could then click through the scripts/blocks to find which
glyphs actually displayed. If the scripts/blocks were colorized (bug 441196)
this would be even easier.
Colorizing the cells of substituted glyphs would be great. A "next/previous
character in this font" command (maybe Ctrl+Shift+N, Ctrl+Shift+P) would also
be great. Another option to display the glyphs without gaps (i.e. compact
display) would be extremely helpful, too.
