Sure. that is actually same to what being proposed at comment#2 and
disadvantages on this way is:
* if applications doesn't use any rendering library which doesn't support the
fallback mechanism, you'll miss Chinese characters on display.
* it may still gives you different looks when the default Latin font will not
be DejaVu anymore and need to fix it yourself.
just to clarify, my suggestion at comment#15 also has a disadvantage...

with Lohit now.
