Orphaned fontpackages RPM on EPEL 5 - workaround possible?

Hello Michael,

given the fontpackages RPM on EPEL 5 got orphaned due to the removal of the
fedora-packager package there, lots of fonts and finally my phpMyAdmin4 RPM
got removed, too.

I wonder if you are still interested in maintaining the package on EPEL 5
or not and if the following could be an acceptable solution to get this RPM
again into the repos:

http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/fontpackages.git/tree/fontpackages.spec
(for master) mentions that fedora-packager is a Fedora-only dependency. Can
we just do the same for EPEL 5? So finally just applying this commit:

  http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/fontpackages.git/commit/?id=8bab6f92637be33ad873d3a664a979d92c24d5a2

Would that be fine for EPEL 5? Ideas? Suggestions? Can you also please let
me know if you would like to take the package again or not?
