Using a credit card should work as if you're in the US, with a reasonable 
conversion rate.  You can also get CAD out of ATMs using your US debit card. 
Your bank may charge a transaction fee.

CAD is slightly cheaper than USD, but for ballpark figures you can assume 
1<->1.  Hope that helps.
