Proposal for FUDcon LATAM 2011: Porto Alegre - Brazil

Hello Everyone,

I am glad to present one more proposal [1] for the next FUDCon LATAM.

Porto Alegre is located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, the
southernmost state in Brazil. The state borders Argentina and Uruguay.
Porto Alegre is one of the wealthiest cities in Latin America and is
one of the most import capitals in Brazil.

This proposal is for hosting the FUDCon LATAM 2011 along with the 12th
International Free Software Forum (FISL - Fórum Internacional de
Software Livre in Portuguese) [2]. The FISL is an internationally
known event, held at Pontifical University of Rio Grande do Sul -
PUC-RS. The venue includes rooms for 100-150 people and also an
auditorium. The latest edition of FISL had 7511 subscribers, with
several participants from nearby countries such as Argentina and
Uruguay.
