 * What do you need covered? (Please estimate the costs in USD: hotel $X,
 travel $Y)

 I'll need travel and accommodation to be covered. As of 11 Aug 2011, the
 flight rate from KL to Mumbai for 2nd November till 9th November is around
 USD440 (includes food+15kg luggage+sports equipment, but see below). As
 for accommodation, I'm ok with any places which I can sleep in sleeping
 bag :-)

 Sports equipment -> thinking of bringing along a folding bike, though
 wondering whether that'll be a good idea or not, else no.

  * If we cannot provide a full subsidy, will a partial subsidy be helpful?

    * If Yes, specify the minimum amount you need covered to facilitate
 your attendance.

 Yes, 400USD

  * What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon? (Please be as specific as
 possible, since this is the most important factor in granting requests.)

 - Interact with other APAC contributors and ambassadors I have known since
 the past several years but had not have the opportunity to meet them in
 real life, and hopefully, figure out more ideas on how to grow Fedora
 presence in APAC.

 - Experience a FUDCon with the general goal of organizing one in the
 future.

 - Thinking of giving a talk, but not quite sure what the topic yet as this
 will be my first FUDCon and not quite sure what to expect. Gave a number
 of talks in several local conferences before but they are mainly beginner
 stuff, or Python/Zope related - which I'm not sure whether its relevant
 for FUDCon.

 - Hacking on GNOME3 extensions and probably some rpms - I wrote the pidgin
 integration extension for gnome-shell, and maintains a number of packages.

  * If you are requesting airfare, include complete flight information such
 as flight numbers, desired departure and arrival airports, and times. Also
 let us know if you have specific time restrictions.

 The airline would be AirAsia (www.airasia.com) as thats the cheapest
 airline to go to India from Malaysia. Departure would be from Kuala Lumpur
 (KUL) and destination is Mumbai (BOM). Departure date would be either 1st
 Nov or 3rd Nov (not sure which is better), and return date would be 8th
 Nov.

  * Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend
 FUDCon?  If so, approximately how long does that processing take?

 Yes, as per http://www.indiavisa.com.my/visa_fee.php, it'll cost me around
 55USD (i think i'll cover this myself) and will take 2-3 days to process
