* What do you need covered? (Please estimate the costs in USD: hotel $X,
travel $Y)
- hotel: $160, flight: $1000
* If we cannot provide a full subsidy, will a partial subsidy be helpful?
(Yes/No)
- Yes
* If Yes, specify the minimum amount you need covered to facilitate
your attendance.
- $1000 (i.e. the flights)
* What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon? (Please be as specific as
possible, since this is the most important factor in granting requests.)
- Give a workshop "Intro to QA: software testing, test plans and test
cases"
- Pitch a talk to show QA-wannabees how to get started (sort of
complements the workshop)
- Participate in the yet-to-be-planned QA-anaconda hack-/testfest
- Evaluate with anaconda team how QA for F17 (with the QA-critical UI
rewrite) can be done efficiently/early on
- Try to accomplish more amazing QA stuff with all the other awesome QA
folks around
* If you are requesting airfare, include complete flight information such
as flight numbers, desired departure and arrival airports, and times. Also
let us know if you have specific time restrictions.
- TBD. The most simple option would be ZRH->ROA / ROA->ZRH. But if I can
include a few days in DC or some other ~nearby-city-worth-a-visit I might
go for that. Would make sure not to top the price the direct flight would
cost.
* Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend
FUDCon? If so, approximately how long does that processing take?
- No, just ESTA which is a no-brainer and done rather quick.
* Include any additional, relevant information.
- I love beefy miracles!
