 Tell us the following:

 * What do you need covered? (Please estimate the costs in USD: hotel $X,
 travel $Y)

 $ 1,400.00 for the trip from El Salvador to Venezuela and back to El
 Salvador

 $ 400 for the hotel, but I accept suggestions for minor expenses, and
 since I never visited the country of Venezuela and will be a nice
 experience if allowed.

 * If we cannot provide a full subsidy, will a partial subsidy be helpful?

 * If Yes, specify the minimum amount you need covered to facilitate your
 attendance.


 * What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon? (Please be as specific as
 possible, since this is the most important factor in granting requests.)

 The main thing is to know and learn from all those present at the event,
 to encourage it in my country, since it is so polarized and technological
 development is very little, my purpose for going to FUDCon not only learn
 but also show some of the following electronic project running on the
 Fedora distribution Split

 Hand Robot Arm and wireless connected to the Web with Hardware and Free
 Software
 3D glasses with Hardware and Free Software
 Projector Touch with Hardware and Free Software

 * Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend
 FUDCon? If so, approximately how long does that processing take?

 Yes, I need to get a visa to travel to the country Venezuela, with an
 estimated time of 2 weeks to make paperwork at the embassy.

 * Include any additional, relevant information.

 I am in charge of the Group GNU / Linux from my university with my friend
 Jose Carlos, who is also trying to apply to go to FUDCon, In the classes
 we univeristy FLOSS Weekly students and teachers, conferences, the next
 week we organized an event "Fedora 17 Release Party" and in my spare time
 doing electronic projects with Arduino and we've gone to many universities
 to promote open hardware and free software. in my spare time I electronic
 projects for hardware and later open free to share with the community, in
 this case and worked with arduino.

 These are some of the events we do in this case with fedora 17 and
 Arduino, we organize free training to young people interested in this
 field, leave the link of the blog where we manage with Jose Carlos and
 other members over the software community, the events that have been made.
