 * What do you need covered? (Please estimate the costs in USD: hotel $X,
 travel $Y.)

 flight is 900 USD but, gnome will pay half, so I am asking for 450 USD
 from Fedora. 3 nights conference hotel (240 USD). (Also, I'll get funding
 for the flight from the Linux Foundation too, since I will visit Japan
 prior to FUDCON, but I don't know the details yet, hence I am asking for
 450 USD for the flight for now.

 * If we cannot provide a full subsidy, will a partial subsidy be helpful?

 attendance.

 A third of the 900 USD would be great for the flight.

 * What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon? (Please be as specific as
 possible, since this is the most important factor in granting requests.)

 I am one of the creators of systemd which is one of the most core
 components of Fedora. At this conference I would like to talk about that
 and collect feedback in order to make sure that we deliver what people
 want, and that the Fedora community can drive where things go.

 * If you are requesting airfare, include complete flight information such
 as flight numbers, desired departure and arrival airports, and times. Also
 let us know if you have specific time restrictions.

 It's difficult at this point, given I lack the details for the funding for
 Japan yet.

 * Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend
 FUDCon? If so, approximately how long does that processing take?

 Yes, I need a visa for china, which should take a month to acquire,
 according to the consular web site.
