That's good then - I guess I must have spent most of my
time on the shared libraries side... anyway I will try
to merge in my changes today or so hopefully.

But the 6.12.1 release (even rc2) still seems to be some way off...
hopefully we won't need to update 6.10.4 in dist-f13
before that.

Ok, well it works (mostly;) so I'll bring it back.
(Always good to put the details into the changelog...
I am guessing you dropped it because of the ghci ppc bug.)

Right I guess we won't know until we try - it needn't be long.
Maybe just 15-25min say.  I think increasing communication is
always useful.  I guess the main obstacle is finding a time
that suits most of us.  Would you or anyone like to suggest one?
