I did check the file and ran the commands as suggested by you.
It was great. Thankyou very much
The only difference being, for some reason the names of the months show up in
reverse order like instead of
مارچ (correct)
it shows as
چرام (incorrect)
I have another question
the numbers show in arabic(1 to 9) while the kashmiri digits are
٠ 0
١ 1
٢ 2
٣ 3
۴ 4
۵ 5
٦ 6
٧ 7
٨ 8
٩ 9
I don't know whether that is required by you or not
The same reversal occurs when I use LOCPATH=$PWD LC_ALL=ks_IN date
to print the date command. Both day and the month reverse their letters as
shown in the above example.
The translation for miss would be: محترمه
Like in arabic kashmiri in this script is also read from right to left.
