Ah, add me too. I was about to file a new bug with the *same* symptoms. Though
it happens with firefox and gnome-terminal too. I have observed the same issue
in GNOME but with different application (MS-Outlook from Citrix) so it is not
limited to KDE.
Also, downgrading ibus* packages to 1.2.0 fixes the issue.
