I have no im-chooser running on my KDE system in the first place! It's a GNOME
tool which does not autostart in KDE.

I ended up hand-editing /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/none.conf (which is probably a
hack, is that file even marked %config?) for now.

IMHO it should just be everyone, including en_*.

de_AT.UTF-8 with de keyboard layout and compose on Shift+AltGr enabled in the
xkb settings. (I miss the time that that was the default, too. It got changed
because some newbies can't deal with the fact that Shift+AltGr is not the same
thing as AltGr+Shift, i.e. ordering matters. See the discussion in bug 193922.
I'm still unhappy about that change, too.)
