Summary: alt+X hotkey stopped working in vte based terminal emulators

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=606194

Summary: alt+X hotkey stopped working in vte based terminal
                    emulators
           Product: Fedora
           Version: 13
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: medium
          Priority: low
         Component: ibus
        AssignedTo: phuang at redhat.com
        ReportedBy: keke at gol.com
         QAContact: extras-qa at fedoraproject.org
                CC: phuang at redhat.com, i18n-bugs at lists.fedoraproject.org
    Classification: Fedora

I use alt+space for toggling ibus input method on/off. It stopped
working on vte based terminal emulators (e.g. gnome-terminal, roxterm)
in ibus 1.3.5-2.

git bisect points to:

| commit 7e715146794d5fa5324885f8d1dcebb8805bc31b
| Author: Peng Huang
| Date: Sat Jun 12 08:53:43 2010 +0800
|
| Disable snooper by default.
|

Setting IBUS_SNOOPER_APPS env variable fixed the problem.
But I believe alt+X hotkey should work by default.
