Thanks for the follow up. I have notice the "no input window" msg. ibus
sometimes crash when I inadvertently push the key "Alt-Shift" while there is no
input window (e.g. I am on the desktop, browsing files).

What do I need to do to reset my configuration? for the info, ibus was part of
the default LXDE F-Spin, when I installed the CD-Room. I did not set anything
but to choose ibus

Print-screen above: is this the LXDE equivalent of im-chooser on Gnome? If so,
that's the way I first enabled ibus.
