I'd love to read the original response from Susmit.

In recent times, along with what Rahul has mentioned above, the Campus
Ambassadors Program
<https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Campus_Ambassadors> has taken  up the
need to stimulate the students to participate and become valuable
presence within The Fedora Project. As an Ambassador you'd be already
aware of this. We are looking at ensuring that potential contributors
pick up an area of interest and invest some time in 'learning the
ropes' before applying for an Ambassador role.
