This ensures that infrequently I get a notification bubble saying
"Updates available" - is that what is expected ? I had expected it to
be functional in the way an Echofon or, ChromedBird works - keep
polling for updates and, provide the viewer to view the updates

A configuration file (I haven't checked if it has any) that allows me
