There are many places that be rented out for these events, we can even
speak to a few colleges that might be interested in hosting such a thing.

There are quite a few places around for lodging. It all depends on the
venue. For example where FOSS.in was hosted, there were lodges close by
to the venue.

Bus is available to all the major places in the city.

I can get this done if needed. Even if you want specific kind of food on
a specific day that can be done. Know quite a few places that does catering.

Almost all round the year.

Flight to Bangalore should not exceed 4000INR per flight from most of
the well know cities. Trains and buses are cheaper and better options.

For people who have not been to Bangalore sightseeing could be arranged
for easily. Lot of places that have to be visited. To name a few Iskcon
temple, the Shiv Mandir (Shrink and kital know about it), Lalbagh
(spread over 40 acres, takes a day to be able to see most of it). Also
bangalore has optimal weather around the sept/oct period.
