Here are a few more updates.

It seems from the foss.in's tweets [1] that "Project of the Day" is
being replaced by "Mini-Confs". Quoting a particular tweet "Mini-confs
will be on a single topic (e.g. "Kernel Security"), for 4 hours, from
2pm to 6pm, with 3-6 speakers, on a designated day."

The registration process for the same will start tonight and will be
open until 23:59 IST on Thursday, 04-Nov-2010.
