Yes. I had an HP dv6226tx previously. Yours probably has an NVIDIA card
too, which works with fedora. The only thing I had trouble with was the
memory card reader, but I never used it anyway.

Photon works out of the box. Just plug it in, click on the network
manager applet and it'll set it up.
