Looks like it actually points to:
mirrorlist=http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors/fedora-extras-$releasever
Which would be:
http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors/fedora-extras-5
for future releases make sure you capitalize the 'D' in download.
