Actually I don't that is the problem in this case, people should be
able to directly log into people without going through the bastion. In
any case a couple of questions

It looks like the issue with the logins is that you need to login via
"josemm" versus jose. SSH gives that message about key exchange no
matter what the real cause of problems.
