Yes

Somewhat.  If I had to pick one it would be "web", however I'm used to having access to all systems and working on the highest priorities (in my work environment.)

I have looked at them but definitely will need to ask quite a few questions.  I'm in and out work wise for about a week.

Absolutely.

Gathering all of the information about the environments.  It seems that most sources of information are not oriented towards new individuals -- in other words you have to know what you're looking for.  There's almost always someone available in at least one of the channels so that's not a problem at all.

Yes.  I think they are very helpful and interesting to hear what other projects are being worked on.
