My understanding (from caolanm) is that everything we've tested with
OO.o appears to work fine on FC with gcj and, for all intents and
purposes, OO.o and libgcj are compatible.  We have a couple of local
build related patches as well as a work-around to a gcj bug (19870).
The build patches have been submitted upstream (OO.o) and I believe
there are partial patches for 19870 somewhere.
