Description of problem:

The problem occurs when watching videos (such as youtube, etc.) and i've also
lately noticed that it occurs when I issue a call to `jetty:run`. The machine,
quite literally, dies abruptly with no warning.

How reproducible:

It's difficult to reproduce but it happens quite frequently. It's been
difficult to pintpoint exactly why or when it happens but it happens MORE often
when I'm streaming a video online. I'm unsure exactly what information to
provide since this is my first bug I've filed here.
