2 things come to mind immediately:

libX11-1.1.15-1.fc10  caused similiar symptoms (like the kded issue here)
PackageKit-0.3.15-1.fc10 + qt-4.4.x = major fail

but both libX11-1.1.15-2.fc10 and PackageKit-0.3.15-2.fc10 are available 
as updates now (the latter is currently only in updates-testing).
