F12: 30 second freeze when accessing certain panel items ?

Fedora 12 now ships with a mesa-dri-drivers-experimental package which 
provides 3D support for the Radeon HD cards (r6xx and newer). Chances are 
they will no longer be experimental by Fedora 13.
