PreUpgrade help, please

No - I thought the upgrade had been too fast to be believed :-)  After a few 
minutes, common sense told me to interrupt grub and see what I could find 
there.  The default was to continue in F11.  I switched to the Upgrade option, 
and it is proceeding now.
