Suddenly I lost my panel, kontact didn't respond to keypresses and cpu was
showing 100%. When I couldn't recover at all I had to re-start X. Once
everything was up and running I decided that I would try to remove the local
mail resource. I then discovered that it was immediately replaced, but this
time the path is /home/anne/.local/share/local-mail - which does exist. We'll
see now whether things are more stable.
