Did you notice that they are saying that Konqueror doesn't open FTP URLs
Correctly, but other clients do...

Any client that I have ever used (nsftp, Filezilla, Cyberduck on Macs,
Freaking IE on Windows) works but Konqueror doesn't...

But then, is it a bug? Or is it not?

I recommend Filezilla as the best GUI Client...
