upstream, Philipp Lohmann (gsl project lead) is working on it, on a child work 
space named kde4int. 
You can track the progress, and when it will be integrated, on EIS

AFAIK it only covers native look&feel via native widgets, and file picker

(but there is no KAddressBook driver integration - don't know why because with 
some dummy hacks it works on KDE 4).
