printing from okular in 4.2.1 still doesn't work

pdflatex sample2e
this one prints fine for me, so it's not broken 100% in general.

The one you mention, not so much.  I tested with evince too, to see if 
was perhaps a poppler issue, but it seemed to print to ps fine too. :(
