PulseAudio in-/output device confusion

So, I've set for capturing - my hardware uses the Intel alsa sound driver - 
HDA-Intel (AD 198x analog) which is working fine.

P.S. I'm always using the test button to see if a setting works and I never 
see no if I get the question that a setting is not needed/used ... We're not 
on Windows are we :-)
