Search on KDE menu not working

well, in my case the search don't work when:

- I just install a program via yum
- try to find it via kickoff search

a reboot is needed to find the recent installed program via search

(maybe a logout/login works instead of reboot, but I not install new 
programs frequently and try to do them at the time which install the 
fedora updates)
