I would have to agree with Felix. I have been using Fedora as my primary OS
for over a year now. Before I recently switched my laptop back to Fedora
from SUSE was because all of the hotkeys worked "out of the box" in KDE. I
do not mind gnome, but would rather have KDE. So, it is quite simple: If it
works in gnome (all of the hotkeys) and it works in "out of the box" in
ubuntu and openSUSE KDE versions, then there is no reason it should not work
in Fedora.

I also agree with Felix on the fact that people might skip using Fedora
and/or KDE or worse linux completely. Remember, FOSS, especially Fedora
needs contributors. But in order to attract contributers, they need to be
users first! So, let's give the best 1st impression we can ;-)
