F11 updates failing

That sounded a good idea, but excluding  kdebase-workspace-python-applet still 
left me with a huge list, and what felt like a gigantic task to find the 
culprit.  I decided to try John's solution, removing kdebase-workspace-python-
applet, and sure enough the update is now running.  Not sure, but I suspect 
that means that I lose yawp, but it's the only widget that I'd really miss.  
It may even have been installed for when I tested various other widgets, for 
other people.  ISTR that a superkaramba system monitor was python-based, for 
instance.
