Howto switch from 4.5-rc3 to 4.4.5?

I participiated in beta-testing for 4.3, 4.4 and now 4.5.
The reason I won't test anymore is I don't feel I make any difference.
The 2 months between beta1 and release are simply to short and there
are not enough developers to even look at the report-flood coming in.

4.5.0 will be quite broken, but will be released on 4th of August on
time. I can't decide what to think about that.
