Wallet not working after system crash

This morning I had a system crash on a nearly up to date Fedora 15 machine.  After resetting the machine I could no longer use any app that required wallet access.  It took me a while to figure out the cause and only did after I removed and re-installed kopete (kdenetwork), after which a wallet dialog did pop up, but was empty and had to be created again.  Then I looked again at all the apps that wouldn't run and found that they all would normally cause an access to the wallet, but instead just timed out.

Even after updating the machine the problem persists.

Where can I look for possible corruption?  Or what can I do to cause the wallet work again.  Is there a log I can review?
