I would strongly recommend AGAINST using Infinality's FreeType fork, it's a 
huge patchset with several experimental and buggy changes, and they are very 
slow at fixing issues with them (especially in their RPMs).

If you need or want subpixel rendering, use freetype-freeworld from RPM 
Fusion, otherwise the Fedora build of FreeType is just fine.
