OK, fair enough.  That may have to chalk up to known incompatibility, ie... all kf5-based apps use XDG_* dirs now, e.g. ~/.config and ~/.local, instead of ~/.kde

I am talking about per user wallpapers.

It was....  ~/.kde/share/wallpapers

now....  ~/.local/share/wallpapers

So, if you've used the tools to download personal wallpapers....well I think you see what I mean.
