breaking news: even ALSA had the capabilities of more than one audio 
source before pulseaudio: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=142657

find another environment: after 9 years Fedora and never been a 
distro-hopper to wait which piece their got broken in 2 years?

"how do you write a window manager when the graphics system doesn't 
behave as documented" is pure nonsense given that KDE4 had a working 
window manager on the same hardware
