I'm still having the same problem. I already verified that it's using 
git HEAD mayflower. What's really making it fail, is mayflower trying to 
read modules.block when it doesn't exists. I can't find neither in my 
system nor in Live CD modules directory.

It only works specifying all ATA modules in mayflower.conf or modifying 
mayflower to read modules.libata instead.

I don't understand why it fails in my system (also Fedora 7 with latest 
livecd-tools from git) if it's working for you. I'm doing something wrong?
