I'm definitely going for the quick-and-dirty "make it work NOW" solution 
here in expectation of a better long-term non-kludge (FI) coming 
shortly. We're doing exactly the same thing for 
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Maintaining_distroblog_area_on_linux.com.
