thats the spirit .. there will be lots of stuff ahead of us, so I hope
you are ready for the challenges :D

Do read these #fedora-classroom log a not so long ago .. it would be
useful for a start

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Training_and_Tips_for_Fedora_Ambassadors_Classroom_(20090307)

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Trademarks_Classroom_(20090307)

an ambassador primary task would be, as you might can guess, to
promote, promote, and promote Fedora to the world and to become the
fedora figure in the community you are in (in this case, your
university). You does necessarily need to know the highly technical
stuff , but nonetheless, its still a useful to know some.

keep yourself updated with what happening in the Fedora community.
Subscribe to the fedora-devel (
https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list ),
fedora-announce (
https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-announce-list ) and the
fedora planet ( http://planet.fedoraproject.org ) and regularly read
them for updates.

upgrade your machine to fedora10 .. or if you are adventurous, to
fedora11 alpha / rawhide .. and familiarize yourself with their
highlighted features so that you can promote fedora and answer user
questions better :)

if you have problems, do ask at the mailing list ..

tq
