You can make it look like the old GNOME release tours, simple and

Or like the OS X features preview (a bit to crowded and hard to read due 
to small fonts): http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/300.html

Or maybe something in-between.

Those two look good (IMO) in HTML format so producing a PDF from that 
HTML is a good solution.
