  * IDEA: Have a new board-public mailing list. This list should either
    be moderated by board members or not open for posting (possibly that
    also means subscription... not sure what mailman2 allows). Archives
    are definitely public. Unless a discussion needs to be private,

  * The goal of the board-public list would be for board members to be
    able to carry on public conversations with minimal distractions that

  * IDEA: We keep the lists the way they are now and really start using
