These are the original SSL library done by Eric A. Young (hence
"EAY").  It's an obsolete predecessor of OpenSSL.

I have no idea if OpenSSL is API-compatible with ssleay, but I can say
that any package that requires these libraries is obsolete itself.

Sure?  PostgreSQL in Fedora requires OpenSSL.
