Name : pilot-link
Product : Fedora 8
Version : 0.12.2
Release : 17.fc8
URL : http://www.pilot-link.org/
Summary : File transfer utilities between Linux and PalmPilots
Description :
This suite of tools allows you to upload and download programs and
data files between a Linux/UNIX machine and the PalmPilot. It has a
few extra utilities that will allow for things like syncing the
PalmPilot's calendar app with Ical. Note that you might still need to
consult the sources for pilot-link if you would like the Python, Tcl,
or Perl bindings.

Install pilot-link if you want to synchronize your Palm with your Red
Hat Linux system.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

This update fixes pilot-link problem with usb connection. If your Palm device
is plugged in at the time of the upgrade (or you are experiencing difficulty
with having the Palm device recognized) you should probably unplug and replug in
your device after the upgrade for the new HAL configuration to take effect.
If kernel module 'visor' is activated then the HAL USB solution may not work -
so it may be necessary to remove it manually (use command /sbin/modprobe visor)
or reboot the computer. If there is any problem read README.fedora.
